On March 19, 2025, the EACC voted to repeal and rescind 402 CMR 2.00, citing that the regulation had become inconsistent and duplicative due to recent amendments in the EDIP statute, particularly those introduced by Chapter 238 of the Acts of 2024 .(mass.gov)
