Florida Administrative Code – Title 9: Department of Community Affairs
The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) under Title 9 of the Florida Administrative Code (FAC) historically governed various aspects of community planning, housing, growth management, emergency management, and related areas. However, as of 2011, the Department of Community Affairs was restructured and much of its responsibilities were transferred to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO).
Despite the dissolution, Title 9 of the FAC may still contain legacy rules that were under the DCA and now fall under the jurisdiction of DEO or other agencies.
