Kansas Administrative Regulations Agency 35 - STATE SALVAGE BOARD
Kansas’s Agency 35 – State Salvage Board is no longer active. According to the Kansas Administrative Regulations:
Agency 35 has been abolished as of August 15, 1975.
Its former powers and duties were transferred to the Secretary of Transportation.
At the Secretary’s request, the relevant regulations originally under the State Salvage Board were moved to Agency 36, Article 27 (law.cornell.edu).
That’s why when browsing the Kansas KAR database or third‑party sites (e.g., Justia or LII/SecStates), you won’t find any active regulations listed under Agency 35 – it has been effectively defunct since 1975 .
