– Power to Seek Assistance of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, etc.

🔹 Provision Summary:

Section 429 empowers the Tribunal (NCLT or NCLAT), or any person authorized by it, to seek the assistance of law enforcement authorities for the execution of its orders.

🔍 Text Summary:

If the Tribunal (or any person authorized by it) requires assistance for:

Taking custody of property,

Implementing any order, or

Carrying out directions given under the Companies Act,

then it may seek help from the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM), Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), or a Metropolitan/Judicial Magistrate.

Such magistrate shall provide the required assistance and may even issue necessary orders to enable enforcement.

Provides legal backing and enforcement support through magistrates.

Facilitates recovery or seizure of company property or records in legal disputes.
