As Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, Justice Chandran authored the landmark judgment upholding the legality of the Bihar caste survey. 2. Motor Accident Compensation (2025)
In the Supreme Court, Justice Chandran, sitting with Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia, enhanced compensation for a Block Development Officer who lost both legs in a 25-year-old motor accident case.
