Trademark Procedures: Cancellation and invalidity procedures for trademarks are now handled administratively by SIPO, rather than through court proceedings. This change aims to expedite decision-making in these matters
Unified Patent System: Provisions have been introduced to accommodate the unitary patent system, in line with Slovenia's ratification of the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court

Copyright and Related Rights Act This Act regulates the protection of literary and artistic works, including provisions for collective management of rights and the supervision of collecting societies SIPO is responsible for issuing authorizations for collective management and overseeing their operations
