Whoever accepts or agrees to accept any gratification (other than legal remuneration), as a motive or reward for using their personal influence with a public servant to:
Do or not do any act in their official function,
Show favor or disfavor, or
Render or attempt to render any service or disservice to any person,
shall be punishable with:
Imprisonment of minimum 3 years, which may extend to 7 years, and
Fine.
