Offence:
Deliberately using—or attempting to use—as genuine evidence, any document or testimony that one knows is false or fabricated.
Punishment:
The offender faces the same penalty as someone who gives or fabricates false evidence—namely:
Up to 7 years imprisonment, plus fine, if used in a judicial proceeding.
