IPC Section 175 – Non-attendance in obedience to an order from public servant

Text of Section 175 IPC:

Whoever, without lawful excuse, neglects or refuses to attend or to remain in attendance at any place as required by any lawful order of a public servant legally competent to issue such order, shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
