Name Territories
The territories which immediately before the commencement of this
Constitution were either comprised in the Province of Bihar or were being
administered as if they formed part of that Province and the territories
specified in clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section .3 of Bihar and Uttar
Pradesh (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1968, but excluding the territories
specified in sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Bihar and West Bengal (Transfer
of Territories) Act, 1956, and the territories specified in clause (b) of subsection (1) section 3 of the first-mentioned Act.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) article 342 of the Constitution of
India, the President, after consultation with the Governors and Rajpramukhs of the States
concerned, is pleased to make the following Order, namely:-
1. This Order may be called the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950
2. The Tribes or tribal communities, or parts of, or groups within, tribes or tribal
communities, specified in Parts I to XIX of the Schedule to this Order shall, in
relation to the States to which those parts respectively relate, be deemed to be
Scheduled Tribes so far as regards members thereof residents in the localities
specified in relation to them respectively in those Parts of that Schedule

In pursuance of section 11 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950),
the President is pleased to make the following Order, namely:-
1. This Order may be called the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Bihar)
Order, 1951.
2. The constituencies into which the State of Bihar shall be divided for the purpose
of elections to the Legislative Council of the State from (a) the graduates'
constituencies, (b) the teachers' constituencies, and (c) the local authorities'

BAR COUNCILS3.
State Bar Councils- (1) There shall be a Bar Council-
(a) for each of the States of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir,
Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, to be
known as the Bar Council of that State;
