Regulation of Synthetic Fuels

Synthetic fuels are fuels produced through chemical or biological processes rather than being directly extracted as conventional crude oil or natural gas. They may include e-fuels produced using renewable electricity and hydrogen, synthetic hydrocarbons, methanol and other alternative fuels.
